UK lawmakers: Pass the Digital Markets Bill in its strongest form to strengthen consumer power and reign in big tech companies

In the UK, there’s a proposed law that has the potential to put people back in control — it’s called the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Bill. It grants new powers to the UK’s competition regulator to put people first. The bill aims to protect consumers by tackling scams and to introduce greater competition and innovation online by regulating the power of big tech companies.

But predictably, big tech companies have been pushing back — seeking to dilute the law’s impact and protect their monopoly positions. To prevent the bill from being weakened at the last minute, we need to come together NOW to create public attention and pressure.

Sign our petition and urge MPs in the House of Commons to pass this bill in its original, strongest form without any loopholes for Big Tech.
