HP Envy Printers

These HP printers allow you to print locally over WiFi and also from the Cloud. With anything stored in the Cloud, you're counting on that Cloud storage to be safe and secure at all times. As we all know, hacks and data leaks happen. So if you're planning on printing super sensitive stuff, it's probably best to get a printer that just connects directly to your computer. HP does say they may share personal information with advertising partners for marketing purposes. It may also share data for debt collection purposes. That's a good bit of sharing of your data. Is there a whole lot that could go wrong with a WiFi connected? It's possible the WiFi connection could become compromised and open your home WiFi up to others, but unlikely. And someone would have to be within about 30 feet to access things through Bluetooth, another thing pretty unlikely to happen. All in all, the worst thing you probably have to worry about is your neighbor connecting to your printer because your WiFi password is something lame like "123456" and printing off lots of pictures of cat memes when you're not home. Annoying yes, the end of the world, no.
