Share the vibe! That's what this little, silicone covered, waterproof, penis ring is designed for. Put it on and both partners get to feel the vibrations where it matters. It also connects over Bluetooth with WeVibe's We-Connect app. Touch mode lets you or your partner adjust the vibration pattern and intensity in real time from anywhere in the world. Beat mode vibrates to the beat of any music you want. You can even use this toy together with other WeVibe toys to double the pleasure and double the fun, as the saying goes.

Qué podría pasar si algo falla

WeVibe has a bit of a spotty track record when it comes to protecting users' privacy. Back in 2016, they were caught collecting data on how and when people were using their sex toys (things like login dates, times, favorite patterns) without their knowledge. This resulted in WeVibe reaching a $3.75 million class action settlement. That's the bad news. The good news is, after they got busted for being sloppy with their users' information, they seemed to clean up their act. They removed account registration so they no longer collect things like name, email, phone number or other personally identifying information on users. And they made their anonymous data sharing opt-in, which is good. So, is your WeVibe connected sex toy now 100% safe, private, and secure? It's better, for sure. It's still a Bluetooth connected sex toy that connects to an internet connected app. One Twitter user in 2019 explained how she could control any WeVibe toy with her laptop and a long-range antenna. Does that mean your toy is likely to be hacked? No, probably not. Does that mean your toy could be hacked? Yeah, it probably could.

Hacking a sex toy is possible — and it could have dangerous results
Internet-connected sex devices (such as the commonly used We-Vibe, KIIROO, and Lovense toys) that let you connect with a lover remotely so they can control the device while video or audio chatting with you. Your data may not be secure, and potentially, a third party could control your toy without your consent — and control of both your body and information could theoretically lead to everything from blackmail to rape.
Sex toy maker agrees to stop collecting intimate data
It can be quite costly to violate the privacy of sex toy users, apparently. Standard Innovation has settled a lawsuit accusing the company of collecting "highly intimate and sensitive data" from its We-Vibe vibrators without their owners' knowledge and sending it to the company's servers in Canada. The agreement will create a $3.75 million US ($5.06 million Canadian) compensation fund that will pay up to $10,000 US to buyers who used the companion We-Connect app, and $199 US to those who just used the vibrator. More importantly, the company has agreed to both stop collecting sensitive info and to purge the info it has collected until now.

The makers of the We-Vibe, a line of vibrators that can be paired with an app for remote-controlled use, have reached a $3.75 million class action settlement with users following allegations that the company was collecting data on when and how the sex toy was used.
