Angel Watch

Well, this is very very bad -- this is literally one of the creepiest products we have ever reviewed here at *Privacy Not Included. We could find no privacy policy that covers the Angel Watch device or app -- both of which the product website says can collect an enormous amount of very personal information. The only privacy policy we could find for Angel Watch was the one that clearly states that it only covers their website, "This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from angelwatchco.com (the “Site”)." Even the link provided on the Google Play Store's page for the Angel Watch app links to the privacy policy that only covers the website.

This is very very bad because there is no way to know what personal information the Angel Watch device and app collects, how it is used, who it is shared with, how it is protected, if you can access or delete your data, how long any data the product collects my be retained and more. Like we said, very very bad.

Even worse is the fact that we emailed The Angel Watch Co. multiple times at the email address listed as contact for privacy related questions in the privacy policy they do have to try and get some answers and never received any response.

Given all this, we have to seriously warn people to avoid buying this smartwatch for kids and vulnerable people at all costs as we can't tell you anything about their privacy and security practices. We are very worried that a device that has GPS tracking, says it can be used to "discreetly monitor audio and video" through a camera and microphone, offers cellular and video calling, and monitors body related information like heart rate and temperature does not provide any privacy policy at all to explain how all the sensitive personal information is protected, secured, used, and handled. If ever any product has ever deserved our *Privacy Not Included warning label, it is this one. Yikes!!!!!
