If you've ever wanted a wearable vibrator that syncs with erotica audiobooks so your vibrations rev up right when the action in the erotica does, here you go. This wearable vibe with a silicone tip slips in your undies, then connects to the Vibease app through Bluetooth. Once connected to the app, you can sync your vibe with a whole library of erotica audiobooks (you have to pay to access it, of course) for some hands free fun. You can also sync the vibe up with your favorite music, control the strength and patterns of the vibe and create custom vibration patterns. And if you'd like to have someone else join in the fun, anyone with an internet connection can control the vibe from anywhere, and share texts, photos, and videos while you're at it. Brings a whole new meaning to in sync!

What could happen if something goes wrong?

We don't see any major red flags with this Vibease virbrator. They do collect standard personal information on users like name, age, gender, and email address. Nowhere in their privacy policy do they say they will sell this information, although they do say they may disclose it with the Vibease group business. That doesn't worry us too much. We also aren't too worried about them sharing anonymized data, non-personal information with third-parties as this is very common. Vibease has had some security vulnerabilities in the past discovered by security researchers. It appears from the the security page on their site they have taken these vulnerabilities seriously when uncovered and fixed them right away, which is what they should be doing. A reminder though, this is a vibrator that connects to an app over Bluetooth and that app can be controlled over the internet, so it's not completely risk free. There's always a chance, likely very small, someone could find a way to join your audio erotica listening session without your consent and things could get weird fast.

Does this product meet our Minimum Security Standards? information

Yes

Encryption

Yes

Vibease devices use two layers of encryption.

Strong password

N/A

Password for the app is six characters but without any specifications. The weak password of 123456 worked. However, Vibease said the following regarding passwords in their email: "For the device, the user needs to press the pairing button to pair. This is safer than a password because the user must physically access the device. For the app, the user needs to enter a password to login. Once login, the app has an option to activate the screen lock with PIN in case someone is accessing their phone. For a long-distance remote-control function, a user must get a permission before he/she can control the vibrator from the other side"

Security updates

Yes

"For the app: "We frequently update the app whenever we have enhancements, new features and fixes." For the device: "There is no automatic firmware update. Allowing firmware to be updated can pose a risk if someone flush the device with a custom firmware that can be less secure."

Manages vulnerabilities

Yes

Vibease has a bug bounty program which can be found here: https://www.vibease.com/security

Privacy policy

Yes

Does the product use AI? information

No

Vibease told us over email, "Vibease AI is still under development. We are working on Virtual partner, it’s a voice chat bot which can control the vibrator."
