Meet the bed that bills itself as the "world's first smart bed." This bed monitors almost 2,000 pressure points across five zones of your body. Connect the bed to the an app over WiFi and you can adjust the firmness of each of the five zones. Or the bed can automatically adjust the pressure of the bed based on your sleeping position or if it detects any pressure building up on those hips or arms or shoulders. Take all that data when you wake up and see how well you slept the night before. Because it's good to know if you woke up on the right side of the smart bed.
What could happen if something goes wrong?
Data on your sleep patterns could tell someone a lot about you and your life. Any bed that monitors your heart rate, breathing, and movement could allow people with access to that data to determine when you get up in the morning, when you go to bed at night, or even when and how often you have sex.
