What are Social Moments?

As we explore what it means to reset, refocus, and refresh at MozFest Virtual 2022, we want to invite you to join us for some of our Social Moments across the week. We encourage you to use this time to step away from your devices and engage with MozFest in a different way.

Why not mix up your week and make the most of these opportunities to refresh and take some time to try something different?

Here at MozFest, we continue to look at ways to bring our community together - our Social moments are a great way to meet your fellow attendees, or just use some of these moments as a chance to reflect and recharge - the choice is yours, we want you to feel both relaxed and energized.

Where can I find the Social Moments in the Schedule?

Drag Queen Bingo

Virtual drag bingo is an exciting way to interact with your MozFest - it’s a perfect virtual experience for some fun and entertainment! Bingo cards will be available once you join - and prizes for the lucky winners. Good luck!

Sing at MozFest!

Sing your heart out (with no-one listening!) in this inclusive session where you can see your fellow singers as they belt out two classic tunes!

Rest and Restore Sound Meditation

A restorative 30-minute retreat in your day for self-care. Both the March 8th and March 11th session will begin with a guided breath meditation to help settle the mind and body into a restful yet awakened state and will lead you into a sound bath immersion, and to a state of deep relaxation.

Zine Fair

Come and mingle with awesome zine makers who are participating in the Zine Exhibition at MozFest. There will be virtual zine booths and DJ/VJ to accompany your zine exploration adventure.

Mindful Art

Engage with some simple art in a mindful way - no experience needed!

Impromptu Poetry Slam

Reflect on your experiences at Mozfest with poetry making through the use of prompts.

Mystique Afrique

Explore Blackness in global cities through art, community, and culture. A multi-sensorial, multimedia experience, Mystique Afrique celebrates the African Diaspora with curated conversations, food, music, fashion, and dance.
