Mozilla’s 2022 Internet Health Report — a five-episode podcast exploring the intersection of AI and power — is up for a prestigious Shorty Impact Award.

The Shorty Impact Awards is an international awards program dedicated to honoring the most purposeful and impactful work organizations are doing to make the world a better place.

We’re honored to be on the shortlist. And, we encourage our listeners and the Mozilla community to cast a vote for us: Finalists are eligible to compete for the audience honor, based on public votes we receive between October 26 and November 9. You can vote here.

This year’s report took shape as a new season of Mozilla’s long-standing “IRL” podcast. Across five episodes and dozens of interviews, we explored who controls AI in the realms of medicine, digital maps, labor, and more. The podcast is hosted by social change strategist Bridget Todd, the creator of the critically acclaimed podcast “There Are No Girls on the Internet.”.

Shorty Impact Award winners will be announced Wednesday, November 16.
