When large tech companies remain gatekeepers of the internet, it threatens our access to alternatives, including more secure, privacy-minded options. And without new competition laws, organizations like Mozilla can't easily reach people like you and me.
Thanks to Mozilla supporters, our open letter demanding that Congress pass the American Innovation and Choice Online Act (AICOA) got into the pages of the Washington Post this summer.
Our letter drew positive attention to this bill, but Congress has yet to act. That's why we have joined like-minded privacy companies signing onto a letter that urges Members of Congress to vote in favor of AICOA.
