Whistle 3 Smart Tracker

Whistle 3 Smart Tracker

Review date: 11/01/2018

Have you ever thought, "I need a Fitbit for my dog?" If so, this is the product for you. This little doohickey attaches to your dog's collar and then lets you track where she is while also monitoring her activity. It combines GPS, Wi-Fi, and cellular tech to track your pup at all times, alert you if she leaves a "safe area", and let you know if she is getting enough exercise. You'll love it, your dog might find it a bit creepy.

What could happen if something goes wrong

Because the tracker transmits data that isn't always encrypted or authenticated, anyone with a little technical skill could see it. They could learn you aren't walking your dog regularly. They could also track all your dog's movements, which your pup--and you--might not like.
