With this little WiFi smart dimmer switch, you can tell your lights to dim down to sexy time levels with an app on your phone or, even better, by asking Google, Alexa, or Siri to do it for you. That'll be sure to impress and increase your chances at getting lucky. Just beware, this switch doesn't work with a 3-way......light bulb.
What could happen if something goes wrong?
Because Belkin never responded to our privacy and security questions, it's hard to tell just how secure and private this WiFi dimmer switch is. Security researchers discovered that the Belkin Wemo Insight smart plug is still at risk for attack even though security vulnerabilities had been identified and disclosed over a year ago. This affects the security of the entire Wemo smart home ecosystem, including the smart dimmer. So buyer beware -- it would be terrible to have an unsecured dimmer switch someone could mess with when you're trying to create that sexy-time mood.
