We're guessing Santa gets asked for gaming consoles more than just about any other gift. The PS4 — whether it be the Slim or the beefed up Pro — brings you into the world of Red Dead Redemption 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, The Last of Us, Spiderman, God of War and more. Play online with your friends or alone on your couch. Use it as your Blu-ray player, your Netflix box, and your Spotify hub. It’s all way too much fun. Just make sure you read up on that thing called two-factor authentication.

What could happen if something goes wrong?

If you don't set up two-factor authentication, someone could hack into your PlayStation account and buy a bunch of games on your credit card. That could get expensive. Also, be aware that while Playstation doesn't share your data with third parties, some of the games you play on the PS4 made by other companies might be collecting and sharing your data.
