Got a fat cat? How about a puppy that likes to eat too fast. Or are you just never home at dinner time? This WiFi connected pet feeder could help you out. Use an app on your phone to tell it to dish out a small portion for your fat cat so it doesn't overeat. Use the Slow Eat function to portion out a little at a time for that fast eater. Schedule meals or just hit Feed Now and your furry friend gets to chow down with a tap of your finger. Hunting and gathering has come so far.

What could happen if something goes wrong?

PetSafe doesn't sell your personal data. Yay! They do say they may share your data for marketing purposes. OK, we don’t love it, but nearly everyone does it. They do share who they share it with for this, so that’s nice.

What’s the worst that could happen? Probably not much. Maybe the worst thing you have to worry about is someone hacking your home WiFi to mess with your kitty's feeding schedule, making Fluffy fat. Secure your WiFi so someone doesn't make your cat fat!

Tips to protect yourself

  • Don't make the password your pet's name. Make it something harder to guess.
  • Keep the camera's software up to date.
  • Cover the lense when you're home and don't need to spy on your furry friend.
  • Keep your WiFi network password protected with a strong password.
