People voted: Very creepy

Looking for love in one of many Latin American countries? LatinAmericaCupid has over 5 million users, most of them in the US, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, Puerto Rico, and Cuba. Launched in 2003, LatinAmericaCupid is targeted at Hispanic men and women, although it seems the gender on the app leans heavily male, as only about 20% of users are female according to Dating Scout. The app is free to sign up, however a paid subscription is required to message all users. LatinAmericaCupid if only available for Android users, there is no iOS app. Sorry iPhone users.

What could happen if something goes wrong?

First off, if you're a LatinAmericanCupid user, you aren't required to use a strong password to protect all that sensitive information you plug into the dating app. Type in 12345678 and you're good to go, and anyone who is good a guessing passwords is too. Use strong passwords people! You don't need your little sister guessing your dating app password and adding the fact that you sleepwalk naked into your profile. Cupid Media, which owns LatinAmericanCupid, also operates at least 32 other dating sites that target lifestyles, ethnicity, and countries. LatinAmericanCupid's privacy policy states Cupid Media can use your profile information, photographs, video or audio recordings and copy your profile into any other relevant dating site owned and operated by Cupid Media. That's kinda creepy! And while it doesn't appear that LatinAmericanCupid will sell your personal data, they do share some of it, like sharing your email with companies like Facebook to target you with ads. Oh, and LatinAmericanCupid doesn't meet our Minimum Security Standards because we couldn't determine if they were encrypting all those video call and text chats and images you're sharing around the world. Are the worse dating apps out there? Most certainly (we're looking at you Grindr). Should you expect all the personal information you share on LatinAmericanCupid to be well protected? Probably not.
