Chair is a senior program officer at Mozilla Foundation. She coordinates Mozilla's Africa Mradi project focused on supporting the innovation ecosystem in East and Southern Africa. She also leads the Mozilla Common Voice African languages program work focused on East Africa. Her work draws on principles of feminism in assessing and implementing digital technology. She has developed projects focused on privacy, data protection and AI as Mozilla 2019/2020 fellow - available on mydatarights.africa.
